ABOUT ME

I started to take slide pictures over 60 years ago. The film speed was 10 ASA (now called ISO). I got excited when it went up to 25 ASA - over twice the speed! I now shoot digital and can go over 100,000 ASA (which I don't use).

I like HDR (High Dynamic Range), and I don't like a tripod (a contradiction in everybody's mind but mine). I find hand-held, three-shot pictures add to the challenge. I feel the pictures I take, and that does not give me time for a tripod.

I am more apt to take local, urban pictures than wildlife. I have been to many countries, several in Europe, several in the Far East, and I started in Libya in the early 50s.
